31 Bits Designs is a socially minded business designed to give internally displaced women in Northern Uganda an opportunity to counter poverty. By giving our beneficiaries access to the international market, they are able to earn an instant income, providing homes, food, and education for their families. Our program equips women by providing literacy education, financial and vocational training, holistic care, and strong support systems, empowering individuals to further their careers and attain social equity.

One of very few things I am sure of: the ladies in my wedding definitely be wearing a piece from 31 Bits.

Fun! I would wear this even if I weren’t in a Wedding or going to one.

Doing interviews and radio performances today. Getting hangry (hangry = hunger to the point of anger) but not too bad.  (Taken with instagram)

So THIS is where The Bee got that expression from. I should have known.

I would definitely consider this for our wedding “After Party.” Sparkle sparkle!

Well, lookie here!  A theme to go with the dress I CAN.NOT.STOP thinking about. Truly meant to be, no?

Is it wrong I almost considered moving the wedding date to spring just for this dress.

between doing artwork for the bee’s band, the social event, and regular work i’ve been busy creating invitations for the bee’s 30th birthday.

dinosaurs and 3D! who doesn’t love those two combinations? i wish the photos were better but this will have to do till i can mock them up for a new portfolio i’m working on.

the dinosaur on the inside of the invitations i “borrowed” from the invitation set by Jill Smith. he was just so cute and that’s what really inspired me to get this thing rolling. i just need to do a quick replace for the portfolio. the other dinosaurs are a fun webdings.

we put up the decorations this weekend so we will have a full week of a decorated dino house complete with diy glitter banner, inflatable dinosaurs, and some simple wall art.

For real.

AGREE.  Be present in the moment and the photographer do their job if they are allowed to during the ceremony.

Also, on social networking sites: Let the bride and groom have the online album of their wedding and at least ask them if they mind if you post it to your blog, social site, or whatever else.

since there are a pretty small amount of people in the wedding party, I was thinking these would be a fun and inexpensive gift. who doesn’t like fun sunglasses?

i also looked at branders.com and they had a silver pair!

I really like this retro shape of the neck and the slight bell of the sleeve.  The geometric pattern is a big inspiration in our wedding.  The question is: Is this a quirky unconventional wedding dress or a fun twist on a bridesmaid dress?  A win-win, if you ask me.

i am cuckoo for s’mores, its probably because i can count on one hand how many times i’ve had s’mores in my life and i’m 25. it’s starting to become pretty obsessive.

click the photo to go to amy atlas’ site so see some behind the scenes photos.

Look at those paper rosettes, so pretty!  I’m also pretty jazzed that I have that same table cloth.  Might be a little to girly for the Bee and maybe even myself but it never hurts to look.

Have you ever seen a cake display so much drama?

The gold flecks would go very well with all the shimmer we’ve got planned.
